IBM i LSAM Configuration

The LSAM parameters screen contains settings for LSAM communication with SMANetCom and settings for optional features. After installation of the LSAM, review the configuration file before starting the LSAM server jobs.

Run the LSAM Configuration Program​

  1. In the command line, enter SMAGPL/STRSMA. For more information on the STRSMA command, refer to the STRSMA Command.
  2. Enter 7 to choose the LSAM Parameters function in the SMA Main Menu.
  3. <Tab> to move between fields on the configuration screen.
  4. Modify relevant configuration fields. Refer to the Configuration Settings table IBM i LSAM Configuration Settings: Heading Information.
  5. After modifying all relevant fields, press <Enter>.
