Adding Machine Groups

To add a machine group:

  1. Double-click on Machine Groups under the Administration topic. The Machine Groups screen displays.
  2. Click Add iconAdd on the Machine Groups toolbar.
  3. Enter the machine group name in the Name text box .
  4. (Optional) Enter any documentation about the machine group.
  5. Select the type of operating system for the group in the Machine Type drop-down list.
  6. Click Save icon Save on the Machine Groups toolbar.
  7. (Optional) Double-click on the machine in the Unassigned Machines list box to move it directly to the Assigned Machines. Alternatively, you can use shift/click or ctrl/click to select multiple machines in the Unassigned Machines list box. Then, click the Right Arrow to move the machines to the Assigned Machines list box.
  8. Click Close ☒ (to the right of the Machine Groups tab) to close the Machine Groups screen. :::
