Editing Scripts

Use this procedure to update a script's Name, Type of Script, or Description in Enterprise Manager. You must have the Maintain Scripts function privilege (or an equivalent all-access privilege) to edit scripts.

To edit a script, complete the following steps:

  1. In the navigation panel, select Repository under the Scripts topic. The Script Repository screen opens.
  2. Select the script you want to edit.
  3. Select Edit Script on the toolbar. The Edit Script dialog opens.
  4. Modify the Name, Type of Script, and/or Description fields as needed.
  5. Select OK to save your changes.

Result: The Script Repository screen refreshes and reflects the updated script details.
