Managing Tags
Finding Tags
To find a tag:
- Double-click on Tag Manager under the Management topic. The Tag Manager screen displays.
- Click the
Find button to the right of the Selection drop-down list.
- Type, in the Select an Item text box, the name of the tag you want to find.
- Click the OK button.
Adding Tags
To add a tag:
- Double-click on Tag Manager under the Management topic. The Tag Manager screen displays.
- Click the
Add button. The Add New Tag window displays.
- Enter a name in the Enter Tag Name text box.
- (Optional) Enter a schedule name in the Schedule Name text box to find a specific schedule.
- (Optional) Enter a job name in the Job Name text box to find a specific job.
- Click the Filter button to search for the schedule(s)/job(s).
- (Optional) Click the Select All or Deselect All buttons.
- Select the checkbox(es) for schedule(s)/job(s) to add the tag.
- Click the Associate Jobs button to associate the tag.
Renaming Tags
To rename a tag:
- Double-click on Tag Manager under the Management topic. The Tag Manager screen displays.
- Select the tag in the Selection drop-down list.
- Click inside the Name text box and change the tag name.
- Click
Save on the Tag Manager toolbar to save the new tag name.
Deleting Tags
To delete a tag:
- Double-click on Tag Manager under the Management topic. The Tag Manager screen displays.
- Select the tag in the Selection drop-down list.
- Click
Remove on the Tag Manager toolbar.
- Click the Yes button to confirm the deletion or click the No button to cancel the deletion.
Editing Master Jobs
To edit a master job:
- Double-click on Tag Manager under the Management topic. The Tag Manager screen displays.
- Select the tag in the Selection drop-down list. This should display a list jobs that are using that tag.
- Select the job to edit in the Job Master.
- (Optional) Use the filter text box at the top of the table to find a specific schedule/job.
- Click on the
Edit Master Job button to the right of Master Schedules/Jobs using this Tag. The Job Master screen displays.
- Edit the job.
- Click
Save on the Job Master toolbar to save the changes.
- Click Close ☒ (to the right of the Job Master tab) to close the Job Master screen.
Associating Master Jobs
To associate a master job:
- Double-click on Tag Manager under the Management topic. The Tag Manager screen displays.
- Select the tag in the Selection drop-down list. This should display a list jobs that are using that tag.
- Click the
Associate Additional Jobs button. The Associate Master Jobs window displays.
- (Optional) Enter a schedule name in the Schedule Name text box to find a specific schedule.
- (Optional) Enter a job name in the Job Name text box to find a specific job.
- Click the Filter button to search for the schedule(s)/job(s).
- (Optional) Click the Select All or Deselect All buttons.
- Select the checkbox(es) for schedule(s)/job(s) to add the tag.
- Click the Associate Jobs button to associate the tag.
- Click Yes to associate more jobs or No to close the dialog.
Deleting Job Associations
To delete a job association:
- Double-click on Tag Manager under the Management topic. The Tag Manager screen displays.
- Select the tag in the Selection drop-down list.
- Select the job to disassociate.
- (Optional) Use the filter text box at the top of the table to find a specific schedule/job.
- Click
Remove Job Association button.
- Click Yes button to confirm the removal. :::
