Managing Tags

Finding Tags

To find a tag:

  1. Double-click on Tag Manager under the Management topic. The Tag Manager screen displays.
  2. Click the Find button to the right of the Selection drop-down list.
  3. Type, in the Select an Item text box, the name of the tag you want to find.
  4. Click the OK button.

Adding Tags

To add a tag:

  1. Double-click on Tag Manager under the Management topic. The Tag Manager screen displays.
  2. Click the Add button. The Add New Tag window displays.
  3. Enter a name in the Enter Tag Name text box.
  4. (Optional) Enter a schedule name in the Schedule Name text box to find a specific schedule.
  5. (Optional) Enter a job name in the Job Name text box to find a specific job.
  6. Click the Filter button to search for the schedule(s)/job(s).
  7. (Optional) Click the Select All or Deselect All buttons.
  8. Select the checkbox(es) for schedule(s)/job(s) to add the tag.
  9. Click the Associate Jobs button to associate the tag.

Renaming Tags

To rename a tag:

  1. Double-click on Tag Manager under the Management topic. The Tag Manager screen displays.
  2. Select the tag in the Selection drop-down list.
  3. Click inside the Name text box and change the tag name.
  4. Click Save on the Tag Manager toolbar to save the new tag name.

Deleting Tags

To delete a tag:

  1. Double-click on Tag Manager under the Management topic. The Tag Manager screen displays.
  2. Select the tag in the Selection drop-down list.
  3. Click Remove on the Tag Manager toolbar.
  4. Click the Yes button to confirm the deletion or click the No button to cancel the deletion.

Editing Master Jobs

To edit a master job:

  1. Double-click on Tag Manager under the Management topic. The Tag Manager screen displays.
  2. Select the tag in the Selection drop-down list. This should display a list jobs that are using that tag.
  3. Select the job to edit in the Job Master.
  4. (Optional) Use the filter text box at the top of the table to find a specific schedule/job.
  5. Click on the Edit Master Job button to the right of Master Schedules/Jobs using this Tag. The Job Master screen displays.
  6. Edit the job.
  7. Click Save on the Job Master toolbar to save the changes.
  8. Click Close ☒ (to the right of the Job Master tab) to close the Job Master screen.

Associating Master Jobs

To associate a master job:

  1. Double-click on Tag Manager under the Management topic. The Tag Manager screen displays.
  2. Select the tag in the Selection drop-down list. This should display a list jobs that are using that tag.
  3. Click the Associate Additional Jobs button. The Associate Master Jobs window displays.
  4. (Optional) Enter a schedule name in the Schedule Name text box to find a specific schedule.
  5. (Optional) Enter a job name in the Job Name text box to find a specific job.
  6. Click the Filter button to search for the schedule(s)/job(s).
  7. (Optional) Click the Select All or Deselect All buttons.
  8. Select the checkbox(es) for schedule(s)/job(s) to add the tag.
  9. Click the Associate Jobs button to associate the tag.
  10. Click Yes to associate more jobs or No to close the dialog.

Deleting Job Associations

To delete a job association:

  1. Double-click on Tag Manager under the Management topic. The Tag Manager screen displays.
  2. Select the tag in the Selection drop-down list.
  3. Select the job to disassociate.
  4. (Optional) Use the filter text box at the top of the table to find a specific schedule/job.
  5. Click Remove Job Association button.
  6. Click Yes button to confirm the removal. :::
