Updating Named Schedule Instance Exceptions

Updating Job Patterns

To update a job pattern:

1. Double-click on Schedule Master under the Administration topic. The Schedule Master screen displays.
2. Select the schedule in the Schedule Selection drop-down list.
3. Click on the Instance Definition tab in the Schedule Details frame.
4. Select the instance name that is associated with the job pattern that needs updating.
5. Select the job pattern to update.
6. Click the Edit button. The Edit Job Pattern dialog displays.
7. Edit the job pattern in the field.
8. Click the OK button to save the update or click the Cancel button to cancel the update.
9. Repeat Steps 5 - 8 to edit any additional job patterns for the selected instance name.
10. Click Save on the Schedule Master toolbar to save the changes made.
11. Click Close ☒ (to the right of the Schedule Master tab) to close the Schedule Master screen.

Updating Exception Rules

To update an exception rule:

1. Double-click on Schedule Master under the Administration topic. The Schedule Master screen displays.
2. Select the schedule in the Schedule Selection drop-down list.
3. Click on the Instance Definition tab in the Schedule Details frame.
4. Select the instance name that is associated with the job pattern that needs updating.
5. Select the job pattern that is associated with the exception rule that needs updating.
6. Select the exception rule to update.
7. Click the Edit button. The Edit Exception Rule dialog displays.
8. Make the necessary update(s) in the dialog.
9. Click the OK button to save the update or click the Cancel button to cancel the update.
10. Repeat Steps 6 - 9 to edit any additional exception rules associated with the job pattern.
11. Click Save on the Schedule Master toolbar to save the changes made.
12. Click Close ☒ (to the right of the Schedule Master tab) to close the Schedule Master screen.
