Deleting Remote Instances

There are no cross-reference checks on remote instance deletion. In cases where a schedule, job, or machine references a remote instance in a complex expression, the expression will become orphan if the referenced remote instance is deleted.

To delete a remote instance:

1. Double-click on Remote Instances under the Administration topic. The Remote Instances screen displays.
2. Select the remote instance in the Selection drop-down list.
3. Click Remove on the Remote Instances toolbar.
4. Click the Yes button to confirm the deletion or click the No button to cancel the deletion.
5. Click Close ☒ (to the right of the Remote Instances tab) to close the Remote Instances screen.
