Deleting User Accounts

If the need arises to delete a user account, there are several required procedures.

To delete a user account:

Disable Inheritance of Schedule Privileges

  1. Double-click on User Accounts under the Security topic. The User Accounts screen displays.
  2. Select a role in the Select Role drop-down list. Alternatively, you can use the Find ((Ctrl+F) magnifying glass) button to find the role.
  3. Unselect the Inherit Privileges for All Schedules checkbox if it is marked.
  4. Click Save     icon Save on the Roles toolbar.
  5. Click Close ☒ (to the right of the Roles tab) to close the Roles screen.
  6. Double-click on Access Code Privileges under the Security topic. The Access Code Privileges screen displays.
  7. Select a role in the Select Role drop-down list. Alternatively, you can use the Find ((Ctrl+F) magnifying glass) button to find the role.
  8. Select all access codes in the Granted list box.
  9. Click the left arrow to move the access code privileges to the Revoked list box.
  10. Click Close ☒ (to the right of the Access Code Privileges tab) to close the Access Code Privileges screen.
  11. Double-click on Schedule Privileges under the Security topic. The Schedule Privileges screen displays.
  12. Select a role in the Select Role drop-down list. Alternatively, you can use the Find ((Ctrl+F) magnifying glass) button to find the role.
  13. Select all schedule privileges in the Granted list box.
  14. Click the left arrow to move the schedule privileges to the Revoked list box.
  15. Click Close ☒ (to the right of the Schedule Privileges tab) to close the Schedule Privileges screen.
  16. Double-click on Function Privileges under the Security topic. The Function Privileges screen displays.
  17. Select a role in the Select Role drop-down list. Alternatively, you can use the Find ((Ctrl+F) magnifying glass) button to find the role.
  18. Select all function privileges in the Granted list box.
  19. Click the left arrow to move the function privileges to the Revoked list box.
  20. Click Close ☒ (to the right of the Function Privileges tab) to close the Function Privileges screen.
  21. Double-click on Departmental Function Privileges under the Security topic. The Departmental Function Privileges screen displays.
  22. Select a role in the Select Role drop-down list. Alternatively, you can use the Find ((Ctrl+F) magnifying glass) button to find the role.
  23. Select all departmental function privileges in the Granted list box.
  24. Click the left arrow to move the departmental function privileges to the Revoked list box.
  25. Click Close ☒ (to the right of the Departmental Function Privileges tab) to close the Departmental Function Privileges screen.
  26. Double-click on Batch User Privileges under the Security topic. The Batch User Privileges screen displays.
  27. Select a role in the Select Role drop-down list. Alternatively, you can use the Find ((Ctrl+F) magnifying glass) button to find the role.
  28. Select an operating system in the Target Operating System drop-down list.
  29. Select all security logins in the Granted list box.
  30. Click the left arrow to move the batch user privileges to the Revoked list box.
  31. Click Close ☒ (to the right of the Batch User Privileges tab) to close the Batch User Privileges screen.
  32. Double-click on User Accounts under the Security topic. The User Accounts screen displays.
  33. Select a role in the Select Role drop-down list. Alternatively, you can use the Find ((Ctrl+F) magnifying glass) button to find the role.
  34. Click Remove     iconRemove on the User Accounts toolbar.
  35. Click the Yes button to confirm the deletion or click the No button to cancel the deletion. :::
