Managing Advanced Job Frequencies
The advanced details for frequencies allow an action that enables or disables scheduling a job on specific schedule dates or for periods of time.
Setting Advanced Job Frequencies
To set an advanced job frequency:
- Double-click on Job Master under the Administration topic. The Job Master screen displays.
- Select the Schedule in the Schedule drop-down list.
- Select the jobin the Job drop-down list.
- Click on the Frequency tab in the Job Properties frame.
- Select the frequency in the Frequency list.
- Click the Advanced button at the bottom of the Frequency list frame. The Advanced Job Frequency dialog displays.
- (Optional) Click on Start Scheduling on at the top of the dialog.
- Enter a date in the Start Scheduling on text box at the bottom. Alternatively, click on the Calendar icon to the right of the text box and select the required date.
- Click the Update button to save the change. Click the Defaults button to reset the parameter to the system default.
- (Optional) Click on End Scheduling on at the top of the dialog.
- Enter a date in the End Scheduling on text box at the bottom. Alternatively, click on the Calendar icon to the right of the text box and select the required date.
- Click the Update button to save the change. Click the Defaults button to reset the parameter to the system default.
- (Optional) Click on Include in Schedule on at the top of the dialog.
- Click the Add button in the Include in Schedule on frame at the bottom. The Add dialog displays.
- Enter a date in the text box. Alternatively, click on the Calendar icon to the right of the text box and select the required date.
- Click the OK button to save the change in the Include in Schedule on frame.
- (Optional) Click on Exclude from Schedule on at the top of the dialog.
- Click the Add button in the Exclude from Schedule on frame. The Add dialog displays.
- Enter a date in the text box. Alternatively, click on the Calendar icon to the right of the text box and select the required date.
- Click the OK button to save the change in the Exclude from Schedule on frame.
- (Optional) Click on Exclude Month from Schedule at the top of the dialog.
- Click the Add button in the Exclude Month from Schedule frame. The Add dialog displays.
- Select a month.
- Click the OK button to save the change in the Exclude Month from Schedule frame.
- Click the Save button to save all changes and close the dialog.
- Click Close ☒ (to the right of the Job Master tab) to close the Job Master screen.
Editing Advanced Job Frequencies
To edit an advanced job frequency:

Double-click on Job Master under the Administration topic. The Job Master screen displays.

Select the Schedule in the Schedule drop-down list.

Select the jobin the Job drop-down list.

Click on the Frequency tab in the Job Properties frame.

Select the frequency in the Frequency list.

Click the Advanced button at the bottom of the Frequency list frame. The Advanced Job Frequency dialog displays.

Click on the existing date in the Include in Schedule on frame.

Click the Edit button in the frame. The Edit dialog displays.

Enter a date in the text box. Alternatively, click on the Calendar icon to the right of the text box and select the required date.

Click the OK button to save the change in the Include in Schedule on frame.

Click on the existing date in the Exclude from Schedule on frame.

Click the Edit button in the frame. The Edit dialog displays.

Enter a date in the text box. Alternatively, click on the Calendar icon to the right of the text box and select the required date.

Click the OK button to save the change in the Exclude from Schedule on frame.

Click on the existing month in the Exclude Month from Schedule frame.

Click the Edit button in the frame. The Edit dialog displays.

Select a month.

Click the OK button to save the change in the Exclude Month from Schedule frame.

Click the Save button to save all changes and close the dialog.

Click Close ☒ (to the right of the Job Master tab) to close the Job Master screen.
Deleting Advanced Frequency Settings
- Double-click on Job Master under the Administration topic. The Job Master screen displays.
- Double-click on Job Master under the Administration topic. The Job Master screen displays.
- Select the Schedule in the Schedule drop-down list.
- Select the jobin the Job drop-down list.
- Click on the Frequency tab in the Job Properties frame.
- Select the frequency in the Frequency list.
- Click the Advanced button at the bottom of the Frequency list frame. The Advanced Job Frequency dialog displays.
- Click on the advanced frequency setting to be deleted.
- Click the Defaults button.
- Repeat Steps 8 and 9 to delete additional advanced frequency settings.
- Click the Save button to save the advanced job frequency changes.
- Click Close ☒ (to the right of the Job Master tab) to close the Job Master screen.
