What Is It?
Use the Enterprise Manager encryption tool when a configuration value in OpCon requires an encrypted password.
To encrypt a password, complete the following steps:
- Log in to the Enterprise Manager
- Use menu path: EnterpriseManager > Password Update > Password Encryption Tool. The Password encryption tool dialog displays
- (Optional) Select Visible to make the password characters visible
- Enter the password in the Password field
- Select Encrypt
- Select Copy to clipboard to copy the encrypted password
- Select Close
- Paste the encrypted password to the desired location
