Renaming Frequencies

What Is It?

Use this procedure to rename Frequencies in the Enterprise Manager.

To rename a frequency, complete the following steps:

  1. Select on Frequency Manager under the Management topic. The Frequency Manager screen displays
  2. Type the frequency name in the Type Filter text box or select the frequency name
  3. Select the Rename a frequency button on the Frequency Manager toolbar. The Frequency Definition Wizard displays
  4. Select inside the Frequency Name text box and enter the new name
  5. Select the Finish button
  6. Select Close ☒ (to the right of the Frequency Manager tab) to close the Frequency Manager screen

Enterprise Manager (EM): OpCon's rich client graphical user interface for Windows and Linux, used to define schedules and jobs, manage automation data, and perform operational tasks.

Frequency: A set of rules that defines when a job or schedule is eligible to run, based on calendar rules, day-of-week settings, period offsets, and other timing criteria.
