Kill command

SMA provides a kill.exe command that forcibly ends a process. This is SMA's Windows version of the UNIX kill command. The command is in the <Target Directory>\OpConxps\SAP BW LSAM\ directory.

tip

To make kill.exe easier to access, copy the file into the Windows or WINNT directory.

Syntax​

kill <pid>

  • kill: The name of the command.
  • <pid>: The process ID of the process to kill.

To obtain the ID number of the process to kill, view the processes in the Windows Task Manager.
