What Is It?​

OpCon includes Predefined Reports for gathering information on OpCon status. Custom reports can also be created by querying the database directly using the BIRT Report Designer (download the "All-in-One" release from http://download.eclipse.org/birt/downloads/).

Custom reports can be integrated into the database using the Report Management utility. Refer to Using Report Management in the Enterprise Manager online help.

Glossary​

BIRT (Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools): The open-source reporting engine used by OpCon to generate predefined and custom reports. Reports are run using the BIRTRptgen.exe utility.

Enterprise Manager (EM): OpCon's rich client graphical user interface for Windows and Linux, used to define schedules and jobs, manage automation data, and perform operational tasks.

OpCon: Continuous' workflow automation platform. The OpCon server includes the database, SAM and Supporting Services (SAM-SS), and graphical user interfaces. agents installed on target platforms run jobs and report results.
